  1. INSTRUCTIONS TO BEGIN

  3. WINDOWS Users:
  4.  
  5. * Insert the EAACTION CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. 
  6. * Double click on your CD directory, then double click on EAACTION.exe.
  7. * If you do not have Quicktime 3.0 installed, a screen will launch when 
  8. the presentation starts that will give you the option to install 
  9. Quicktime 3.0. If you have an older version of Quicktime installed, you 
  10. should install Quicktime 3.0 at that time. After the installation of 
  11. Quicktime 3.0 is finished, you're system will restart.
  12. * Double click on the EAACTION.exe.

  15. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR PLAYBACK
  16.  
  17. * Pentium compatible 133MHz with 16 MB of RAM
  18. * Windows  95, 98 or NT 4.0
  19. * 2X or faster CD-ROM drive
  20. * 13" or larger monitor
  21. * 8 bit video card and sound card
  22. * QuickTime 3.0
  23.  
  24. NOTE: To ensure proper performance: QuickTime 3.0 must be installed, 
  25. your monitor should be set to a minimum of Thousands of colors and 
  26. you must have enough RAM available.
  27. If in doubt about if you have QuickTime, or the correct version of 
  28. Quicktime installed, please choose to install Quicktime 3.0 at the 
  29. start of the presentation. We recommend a minimum of 16 MB of RAM, 
  30. however, you will need at least 5600 Kb free. If the presentation will 
  31. not mount, performance is slow or audio will not play properly, it could 
  32. be due to lack of RAM or Quicktime 3.0 not installed. 
  33. After installing Quicktime, open the Control Panel directory, by going 
  34. to Start/Settings/Control Panel. Double click on the Quicktime icon. 
  35. Choose Video Settings from the pull down menu and click on Safe Mode. 
  36. Choose Sound Out from the pull down menu and click on waveOut. 
  37. Close the Quicktime window settings.

  41. MACINTOSH Users:

  43. * Insert the EAACTION CD-ROM  into your CD-ROM drive. 
  44. The window showing the contents of the disk will open.
  45. * Double click on the EAACTION icon to start the presentation.
  46. * QuickTime INSTALLATION NOTE: This CD uses QuickTime 3.0. 
  47. To upgrade from an earlier version, simply follow the prompts when the 
  48. presentation starts. After installation, your computer will restart.
  49. * Double click on the EAACTION icon and when the presentation launches, 
  50. click on Start..

  62. please turn off the ATI Resource Manager extension and restart your
